This was a great way to use up some left over ALPACA, locally grown and spun sock yarn. I found the pattern on http://www.ravelry.com
This stitch has lots of potential for hat or shawl, table runner……… I can visualize a table runner using linen or cotton.
I used 50gm of sock yarn (fingering) and 5.5mm needles.
PATTERN: multiple of 4 stitches.
Scarf: CO 24 stitches. Knit a couple of garter stitch rows to start edge and then finish the scarf with the same number of garter stitch rows.
K4, (YO, K2 tog, K2) repeat between ( ) 5 times or end of row.
